"The Recruitment Committee, championing equality, inclusivity, diversity and unity within Higher Education and the Fashion Industry, is dedicated to strengthening relationships and communication through the influence of FACE.

FACE will empower individuals to ensure recruitment policies within institutes and the industry are adhered to and reflective of current research. FACE intentions include improving workforce diversity in all senses and ensuring that delivery, content and associations are truly inclusive.

FACE seeks to imbue the fashion environment with intelligence, specialist insight and direction. Resultant collaborations with institutes and brands will result in industry-wide programmes to accelerate change. 

The recruitment objective of this pillar within FACE is to champion the leaders of equity, inclusivity, diversity and unity within Higher Education and the Fashion Industry, which encompasses: coalition with Black, Brown and POC colleagues, professionals, students, and allies. "

We aim to enhance the rates of recruitment for students and staff, particularly focusing on increasing representation among underrepresented races, colours, and ethnicities.

We will strive to create pathways that dismantle barriers and foster inclusivity from the recruitment stage onwards.
